First Linguists® PTY LTD is a private Business founded by Melissa Kirby from Brewarrina, NSW.

Melissa is a creative entrepreneur, trained graphic designer, and language specialist dedicated to supporting diverse language needs. Through her expertise, FIRST LINGUISTS® delivers innovative language experiences and develops tailored products to empower communication across communities.

Based in Brewarrina, First Linguists operates beyond geographical boundaries, providing language services to individuals, organisations, and communities. Services are tailored to meet each client's unique communication and language needs.

Melissa developed her own literacy models. While quite astute with nature and culture she draws on her experience living in Brewarrina since birth. Melissa was raised by parents who taught her the value of cultural capital- while culture varies from person to person, so does language expertise-Melissa prides herself on knowing that she learned from the best.

First linguists multi-media literacy games are coming soon.

Melissa’s Identity is Brewarrina. While she was self taught with a second language and speaks it regularly to her daughter, she is passionate about teaching the English language and linguistics.
